Overall, river trips are good at this level as long as you take your time and correctly read the river. Day trippers should take shorter trips and overnighters should limit the amount of gear in the boats. Watercraft may bump and scrape some and paddlers may have to step out of their watercraft from time to time. Fisherman and those that just want to float may want to consider taking shorter trips so that you will not be rushed to finish before closing. Recommended day trips are #1, #2 and #4. If you want to take trip #4, please arrive early in the morning. Rafts are running on trip #1 and #2 only. Remember to bring plenty of drinking water, snacks, sunscreen, shoes that you can wear in the river, and a change of clothes. Remember to always wear your life vest! See you on the river. |

Nonalcoholic beverages and snacks are just the ticket to keep the body fueled. Remember that alcohol dehydrates the body and is not recommended during your river trip. Pack accordingly. Click on our SAFETY PAGE, above left for more details.
